Accessing urgent and emergency services
Our Emergency Department at QA Hospital is very busy. If you need urgent medical advice that isn't an emergency, please visit our Know Where to Go page for help on services available including NHS 111 and urgent treatment centres.
To help the hospital and our staff, here are a few things you can do:
- Please call NHS 111 if you need medical help and don't know where to go.
- If you have diarrhoea or vomiting, or if you have had these symptoms, please do not visit the hospital until you have been free of them for 48 hours.
