Important information
Our Emergency Department at QA Hospital is currently very busy. If you need urgent medical advice that isn't an emergency, please visit our Know Where to Go page for help on services available including NHS 111 and urgent treatment centres.
To help the hospital and our staff, here are a few things you can do:
- Please call NHS 111 if you need medical help and don't know where to go.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID or flu including cough, loss of taste and smell, or a temperature, please do not visit until you are better.
- If you have diarrhoea or vomiting, or if you have had these symptoms, please do not visit the hospital until you have been free of them for 48 hours.
- If you are visiting our sites, please wash your hands with soap and water regularly. Hand gel is available but does not protect against Norovirus (diarrhoea or vomiting).
Mask wearing: To help protect patients, visitors, and staff, we have introduced mask wearing in some areas of QA Hospital and are encouraging visitors to join staff in wearing one too. Masks are available by the entrances.
