As part of work that has been taking place on Nightingale Road, where access has been reduced to a single lane, the contractor will need to fully close the road on three dates in December between the two bus stops (North Entrance and the old Emergency Department) from 11:30pm to 5:30am.
The roadworks are due to be complete later this month.
Scheduled road closures:

Wednesday 10 December at 11:30pm to Thursday 11 December at 5:30am

Thursday 11 December at 11:30pm to Friday 12 December at 5:30am

Friday 12 December at 11:30pm to Sunday 14 December at 5:30pm

Staff on-site parking is not affected, but staff may face delays when entering or leaving the site so please keep this in mind when travelling to or from work.

Public parking – the public car parks remain open but visitors to site will not be able to access these through Southwick Hill Road.

Access to the mortuary remains via Southwick Hill Road.
- Emergency vehicles will continue to enter through the East Gate for the Emergency Department and UPECC.

Please allow extra time for your journey to QA Hospital during this time as there is likely to be increased traffic.
