Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) is inviting local people to attend to its community Health Fair and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 23 September. 

The event is open to everyone and is an opportunity to find out more about your local hospital, meet some of the teams who provide your care, and hear about the improvements we have made over the past year. 

The event will take place at Cosham Baptist Church, 48 Havant Road, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 2QZ. 

Doors will open at 4pm with a Health Fair, where you can meet teams from across PHU, find out more about their work and ask questions. 

A range of community partners will also be joining us, giving you the opportunity to find out more about healthcare in our local area and the different services and support available to you. 

The Annual General Meeting will follow the Health Fair, starting at 5:30pm and finishing at 7:30pm. 

Items on the agenda for the AGM include:  

  • Highlights from the Annual Report and Accounts 2025/26 

  • Progress on the development of Portsmouth’s Community Diagnostic Centre 

  • How Chatterboxes, in partnership between PHU and the National Museum of the Royal Navy are helping patients find comfort, conversation and connection 

  • Public question and answer session 

Ask the Trust Board a question 

There will be an opportunity to hear from the Trust Board and ask questions during the meeting. To help us provide a full response, we encourage you to submit any questions in advance.
