This was my last invite to breast screening and when I asked if I could have them in the future, she gave me all the information I needed. Thanks. ""It was my first screening and the experience was second to none. All the staff (3 ladies) were brilliant, they communicated very well, they were welcoming and very compassionate and understanding that it’s not necessarily a comfortable process for women. I loved seeing on the entry door that only women were permitted in the unit. That really helped put me at ease. It made a big difference. "May I congratulate your lovely team  for their kindness, efficiency and excellent organisation today. I firstly had to change my pre organised appointment a few weeks ago and it was no problem and very easy to do. Today I had a very warm welcome from your ladies in reception as did others that arrived shortly after me..
The lady who did my mammogram today was a calming influence. It’s not the most comfortable of procedures but she was just the best at making me feel as comfortable as possible and I’d like to pass on my thanks for her great work. "I have always had a very good experience, and this time was no exception. The staff have always been very friendly, informative, welcoming and good humoured. The environment is what it is (a big tin box in the middle of a carpark), but it’s always warm (an absolute necessity!) and welcoming. I’ve been having the screenings for as long as I can remember, and now I’m nearly 70, and won’t be asked along for further appointments, but I will be definitely continue to request one every three years going forward! My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 91, and died soon after, so I know the importance of continuous screening. Thank you for the great job you do. Great service, in and out within 20 minutes. " (January 2026)
