We can listen to your worries and concerns and offer advice. We can also sign-post you to other services. These appointments will be arranged to coincide with your next hospital visit.

Financial Advice: If you would like any advice regarding benefits and finance, please call the Macmillan Hampshire Citizens Advice Service on 0344 847 7727. Their lines are available Monday – Friday between 9am and 4pm and you can leave a message.

Wig Service: A wig referral scheme is available through our partner Daxbourne. Please ask your consultant or nurse specialist to complete a referral to this service. A member of their team will call you once the referral is received (please note that Daxbourne are based in London so they will be calling from a London number). Living with or after a cancer diagnosis? Do you want to enhance your resilience through these difficult times, rediscover strengths and increase your ability to cope? Then why not join Macmillan Cancer Support’s online self-management program called iHOPE. The program focuses on topics including:

  • smarter goal setting
  • priorities and values
  • living positively with fears for the future
  • character strengths
  • physical activity
  • eating well
  • managing stress
  • coping with fatigue
  • finding things to be thankful for

Our Information and Support Centre can be found on B Level within the Haematology and Oncology department, follow the green “Macmillan Centre” signs to us.

The centre is visible from the main atrium, directly above the main reception and opposite the League of Friends Café.

There is lift access from the main atrium and we also have level access available from the Haematology and Oncology side entrance.
