Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) is a designated cancer centre, providing care for people aged 16 and over with a wide range of cancers and blood disorders. We care for patients across southern Hampshire and parts of West Sussex, working closely with University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, as well as cancer services in Chichester and on the Isle of Wight.

For very rare cancers in adults, and for children with cancer, treatment is usually provided at specialist centres in Southampton or London.

If you are a new patient, you may be referred to our service by your GP, another NHS Trust, or through another specialty within PHU.

All patients attending appointments at the Combined Haematology Oncology Centre must enter the hospital using the designated Haematology and Oncology entrance located on Pasteur Road, between the Main and North entrances.
