The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Department will see both adults and children for consultations and surgery, if required.

ENT outpatient clinics are held in Portsmouth, Chichester and Petersfield. ENT micro suction clinics are held at Gosport and Fareham.

Our department is open 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and referrals are made via GP.

Patient engagement portal

We are currently piloting a new patient engagement portal, DrDoctor, to support pre-appointment questionnaires.

Some ENT patients will receive a notification via the NHS App or a text from DrDoctor (number 07860 039 092) inviting them to complete a questionnaire ahead of appointments. This link is secure and completing the questionnaire ahead of your appointment helps us better prepare for your appointment and improves your experience on the day.

If you prefer not to complete the questionnaire digitally, paper versions will still be available when you arrive for your appointment.

Tongue Tie Parent/Carer Leaflet
Tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) is where the strip of skin connecting the baby’s tongue to the bottom of their mouth is shorter than usual. Some babies who have tongue-tie do not seem to be bothered by it. This parent/carer leaflet explains more about the condition.
