Messages for loved ones and keeping in touch

During your stay in hospital you will meet a number of different members of staff.  All members of staff wear name badges, but if you are not sure who someone is or what they do, please feel free to ask them to introduce themselves and explain what they do.

If you have any questions about your treatment, please ask a doctor or a nurse.

There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved with the Trust, from volunteering to attending our public meetings, our Annual General Meeting or our hospital open day which is held every year.

Specialist Consultations

Last updated: 05 November 2019

We’re extremely fortunate and proud to deliver a wide range of private healthcare services in collaboration with a pool of highly skilled experts within the private healthcare specialists.

We have a large directory of consultants offering private healthcare at The Harbour Suite and data is now also available to help our patients make informed decisions when choosing a surgeon and our team of private patient service coordinators can point you in the direction of the perfect consultant specialist for your care at The Harbour Suite.

The Harbour Suite’s quality and safety standards are governed and monitored by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We also report to the Private Hospitals Information Network (PHIN), PHIN is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to improve data quality and transparency in the industry. The Harbour Suite also has its own independent Medical Advisory Committee that is overseen by the Trusts Medical Director, ensuring NHS commitments are prioritised whilst promoting and ensuring private patient safety, clinical efficiency and experience are optimised.
