The Chaplaincy Team is employed by the Trust to meet spiritual and religious needs of patients, relatives and staff of all faiths or of no faith at all. They are supported by a trained team of voluntary Chaplaincy Assistants.
Chaplains are available 24 hours a day, with an emergency call-out service when outside of normal working hours. They listen and talk to patients and relatives, providing words of comfort, Prayer and even bedside services when appropriate.
The team can contact local leaders of a large number of different faiths upon request. A referral for patient care can be completed by family, friends, medical staff and faith communities. For those anticipating admission, it is recommended to inform the Chaplaincy in advance of their arrival so preparations can be made.

The Multi-faith room is located next to the chapel, and includes washing facilities for those who wash before prayer as part of their religious practice.
For any further information on the services we can provide or for any queries do not hesitate to contact us, the details are on the right of this page.
Prayer mats, prayer beads and a few other items are available to be borrowed for prayer. These are located in a cupboard in the Multi-Faith Prayer room. Other aids including Rosaries and small holding crosses are available on request.
The Chapel is located through the main A level Reception. If you pass the lifts on the left side following the corridor, you will also pass the Shop and a Costa Coffee, then on your left is the Chapel (Next to No. 3 on the map).
