Have you made your Will?

During the month of October, we have partnered with two local solicitors to offer you the opportunity to create a new Will or amend your current one in exchange for a donation to Portsmouth Hospitals Charity.

A Will is an official document which lets you choose what happens to your possessions, property and money (your 'estate') after your death. Writing a Will in preparation for the future will allow you to dictate exactly how you would like your estate distributed.

Each donation received during our Make a Will month is gratefully received and will help to support our various projects and appeals, all of which will help to improve the hospital stay and care of current and future patients of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.

Leaving a gift in your Will

Have you considered leaving a gift in your Will to a ward or department close to your heart via Portsmouth Hospitals Charity?

Legacy gifts are a valuable resource to our charity and we feel it is a special privilege and honour whenever the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity is mentioned in a Will. Leaving a gift in your Will is a wonderful way of supporting your hospital, as well as leaving a meaningful and lasting legacy.

Writing a Will is something which is personal to you and therefore should be carefully considered. We would always recommend that you look after loved ones first and then consider a gift in you Will to Portsmouth Hospitals Charity. We are extremely grateful for all bequests, a gift no matter the size will make a huge difference to the patients of Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
