You can make a donation in memory of a loved one in a number of different ways – by donating online through Much Loved, by sending a cheque directly to us or through a funeral director.
We are pleased to link with Much Loved, a completely free service which lets you create a tribute page in memory of a loved one.
You can leave messages about the person you’re remembering, share photos, videos and explain why you’re raising money in their memory. There is also a feature that can be used to manage online donations and promote events that you are doing in their memory.
To set up your tribute page, simply click on the link below.
In your description on your Much Loved tribute page, please write what Ward or Department you would like the money to go to.
If you would like to send a cheque by post, please send it to:
Fundraising Office, De La Court House, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Southwick Hill Road, Cosham, PO6 3LY
Please remember to include the name of the person you are remembering, the ward or department you would like the money to go to, as well as your name and adress so that we can thank you for your donation.
When making funeral arrangements, many people choose to request donation in lieu of flowers in memory of the person who has past away.
At the funeral service, the person leading the ceremony will be happy to annouce that donations are being collected and which charity this is for. They can also provide a collection box for family members and friends to place their donations in at the end of the ceremoney.
Alternatively, we can provide collection envelopes (which include Gift Aid forms) to use at a funeral or at a memoriam event.
We can also liaise with the funeral director about how to get the donations to us if they are dealing with this on your behalf.
