The NHS receives funds from the government to provide healthcare, but there is an ever-increasing demand to improve facilities and provide better care for patients, which need public support.

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity aims to provide the best possible facilities and environment for patients, staff and visitors as well as state-of-the-art equipment, to enhance over all experience.

To do this we rely on the kindness and generosity of the many individuals, groups and companies who donate their time and money. We are generously supported by a number of charitable organisations including the League of Friends, Sam's Haven, Ickle Pickles and Aidan's Activity Fund.

As a supporter of the Trust, you can donate to Portsmouth Hospitals Charity General Fund or to a multitude of different wards and departments within Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.

This would include:

Improvements to patient care

State-of-the-art equipment or additional equipment available through NHS funding

Medical research

Providing the best possible environment for patients, staff and visitors
