Messages for loved ones and keeping in touch

During your stay in hospital you will meet a number of different members of staff.  All members of staff wear name badges, but if you are not sure who someone is or what they do, please feel free to ask them to introduce themselves and explain what they do.

If you have any questions about your treatment, please ask a doctor or a nurse.

There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved with the Trust, from volunteering to attending our public meetings, our Annual General Meeting or our hospital open day which is held every year.

IT Training

Last updated: 29 May 2020

Welcome to the IT Training Department homepage.

We support the staff of:

  • Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust
  • External employees using PHT systems

On this site you can find out more about the training that we offer. You will also be able to see information on the courses available, which include desktop courses (Microsoft) and clinical courses.

We are currently delivering training remotely.

Remote training is delivered in the following ways:

  • Remote learning with a trainer either 1:1 or in small groups (using Teams or other methods appropriate to your work setting)
  • E-Learning.

E-Learning is provided via our Moodle site.  You will need to contact IT Training to have an account set up.  Also note that the Moodle is only accessible via a PHT computer.

Should you have any ideas for additional training which you would like us to provide you with contact us or send a training request and we will see what we can do to help.

Feel free to explore our website and find out more about us in the ‘About us’ section.

Lastly, if you have any thoughts about the website, please do contact us.

Please note that during this time of Covid-19 restrictions it is advised to contact IT Training via email.  We cannot guarantee that we will respond immediately to phone calls.
