Messages for loved ones and keeping in touch

We recognise the impact that a long stay in hospital can have on families and the importance of maintaining strong communication.  Our ward staff are keeping in touch with patients’ next of kin directly and our Voluntary Services team can help pass on personal messages from family and friends.

After suspending visiting earlier in the year, we are now able to offer limited visiting to some wards at the discretion of the nurse in-charge.”

Simulation Centre

QUAD building photo

Portsmouth Hospitals Simulation Centre is a dedicated training environment providing realistic and interactive education, delivering a diverse range of courses and realistic scenario-based education for healthcare professionals.

  • Simulation Centre – Located on the 2nd floor; a high fidelity training centre for Medical Simulation with the use of a variety of human patients simulators
  • VIMARs – Victory Institute of Minimal Access Robotic Surgery located on the ground floor, providing surgical simulation training and RCS courses.

We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
