Messages for loved ones and keeping in touch

We recognise the impact that a long stay in hospital can have on families and the importance of maintaining strong communication.  Our ward staff are keeping in touch with patients’ next of kin directly and our Voluntary Services team can help pass on personal messages from family and friends.

After suspending visiting earlier in the year, we are now able to offer limited visiting to some wards at the discretion of the nurse in-charge.”

    Infection Prevention

    This service is for inpatients, outpatients, staff and visitors.

    There are 4 domains to the service we provide:

    • Infection Prevention

    • IV access

    • Decontamination

    • Surveillance and Data Management

  • D level

    Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

    Our Inflammatory Bowel Disease service offers inpatient and outpatient support to people with IBD in Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

     

  • Information Governance

    Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (the Trust) takes the confidentiality and privacy of your personal information very seriously.  The Trust receives, records and when necessary shares your personal confidential information in order to provide you with quality care and treatment. 

  • IT Security

    As part of the Trust's Cyber Security strategy we have developed this web page to increase of the threats posted to the Trust, resulting from poor cyber security practices.
