Thanks to your kind donations throughout 2020 we were able to support staff at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust through a number of projects and initiatives as they faced some of the most challenging circumstances. We were able to fund boxes of items to boost morale during their shift, water coolers, tools to support staff mental health plus much more.

As we enter 2021, like many other hospitals and NHS providers, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is facing a winter like no other with winter pressures, and the devastating impact of a second wave of COVID-19.

With your help, we want to continue to support staff into 2021 and beyond as they continue to fight to help patients from our community.

The Trust has received many fantastic donations including food for teams and are so incredibly grateful for every single one of these offers, however as time goes by it is getting increasingly difficult to be able to distribute these items to all the amazing individuals and departments.

Many of you have got in touch over the last few weeks and asked what you can do to help, so working with the Portsmouth News and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust; we have set up the Portsmouth Hospitals Thank You Appeal.

By donating, you will play a role in supporting Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust staff who are working around the clock in difficult circumstances and share your thanks with everyone working within the Trust from doctors and nurses to porters and cleaners.

Any money raised through the appeal will continue to be used to support well being, buy supplies and fund welfare initiatives needed by our staff over the coming weeks and months, while ourselves as the Charity will work with colleagues to find the best way to spend any donations.

Anything we raise over and above what might be needed in the current crisis will go towards helping to support Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust staff well being in the future.
