Will you take to the skies for a cause close to your heart at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust?
To take part in the Wing Walk event you must meet the criteria set out by 'The Wing Walking Company'
Via Portsmouth Hospitals Charity you can choose to support an area close to your heart within Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
We ask every wing walker to try and raise at least £850, this can be for either a specific ward or department or for the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity ‘General Fund’ – which supports all areas within the Trust. We ask that you raise the first £680 by Friday 4th June 2021 and then the remaining £170 by 15th August 2021. By fundraising, you will help to support excellence in patient care at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. Money raised will help to improve existing facilities, purchase additional hospital equipment as well as supporting specialist staff training, research and innovation. Remember to write in the description the area you have chosen to raise money for at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
As an alternative you may wish to ‘self-fund’ your Wing Walk for Portsmouth Hospitals Charity. To do this, all you have to do is pay £390 directly to Portsmouth Hospitals Charity and then raise as much as you can for your chosen area within Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. A £50 registration fee is required at the time of booking to secure your place and then the remaining £340 should be paid prior to your wing walk date.
