This role would suit someone with a strong desire to be involved in the delivery of high standards of patient care, without any previous experience.
This post is fixed for one year and on successful completion of the apprenticeship will be considered for a permanent Band 2 post at PHT.
This would suit someone with an up to date Health Care Qualification e.g. BTEC, NVQ 2 or equivalent, who would like to train to become a Health Care Support Worker.
No previous experience is required. On completion of the 6 months training successful candidates would progress to a Band 2 position.
These posts are for highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Health Care Support Workers wishing to join the nursing team at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
Suitable candidates will have a QCF or BTEC or equivalent Level 2 Health and Social Care/Clinical Health and Level 1 English and Maths with experience of working in a healthcare setting.
We regularly recruit Band 5 Registered Nurses across various Care Groups.
