More than 200 people, including children and grateful patients, attended our second annual Colour Dash 5K run at Staunton Country Park on Sunday 12 July 2026, to raise money for Portsmouth Hospitals Charity.
The park was a sea of colour and fun was definitely on the agenda as they ran the 5K course being showered with colourful powdered paint along the route.
A big thank you to Snows Portsmouth - our headline sponsor, paint station sponsors Southsea Rotary, and Equans for all the refreshments, which were much needed.
Everyone warmed up their muscles with music and compere Ian from Express FM and Tina from David Lloyd. We are also very grateful to Tony from Portsmouth Joggers for helping with the route and the marshals and police cadets for throwing the paint.
Every event relies on wonderful volunteers and we are grateful to everyone who gave up their time to help and to everyone that took part.
The local community and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust staff members alike came together in a spectacular burst of colour and raised a fantastic £15,000 so far and counting. Here are our photos of the event:
