The Portsmouth Fertility Centre, an HFEA licensed centre, offers a personalised service for those struggling to conceive. Couples may be referred traditionally or using 'choose and book' to one of our specialist fertility clinics. Our medical team is led by the consultant, fertility specialist Mr Ian Golland. The specialist male factor fertility clinic is run jointly with Mr Byron Walmsley, and the specialist endocrine fertility clinic jointly with Professor Mike Cummings. They are assisted by their team of specialist registrars and nurses.
Treatments offered include laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery with particular expertise in the treatment of endometriosis and fallopian tube surgery. In Portsmouth we offer a range of medical treatments including an NHS IVF satellite service.
The nursing team is led by Debbie Edwards.

No cause for concern Fire Service exercise at Queen Alexandra Hospital on Tuesday 22 May
Staff at Queen Alexandra Hospital would like to make members of the public aware that a Hampshire Fire and Rescue service mass decontamination unit will attend our site for an exercise due to take place on Tuesday 22 May. There will be no live “casualties.”
