For Patients and Visitors

Entering a hospital can be a confusing and overwhelming experience for patients and their loved ones. It is difficult to know where you are going, where to park, and even where to find a cup of tea.

Knowing what to expect beforehand can help put a patient at ease.

In the pages of this section of the website you can familiarise yourself with Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust before your scheduled procedure, whether it is as an outpatient or inpatient.  The pages and links here can inform you about a wide range of topics, such as hospital meals, television and telephone services along with visiting hours etc.

Finally, you'll learn about other services such as our Patient and Customer Services Team (incorporating PALS) that help with the many needs of our patients and their families.

Please download the Way Finding map to find your way around the new Queen Alexandra Hospital.

We invite you to click on the links at the left to discover more about our hospital.
