Chapel and Prayer Room

The Chapel and Multi-faith Room at Queen Alexandra Hospital are on A-Level very near to the main entrance.

Sunday services

10.30am:  A Service of Holy Communion, led by an Anglican Chaplain. This service is open to anyone who would like to come, whether they regularly attend a local church of any denomination, or don't normally go to church at all.  Visitors are also welcome to come, as are any staff who cannot get to their local church.

4.00pm: Roman Catholic Mass, led by the Roman Catholic Chaplain.

Both services last around 40 minutes, and wheelchair transport from the wards is available.  To enable us to organise transport to Chapel ring the Chaplaincy office on Ext.6408 at QAH, so that the patient's name can be added to our Sunday list.

Daily Prayer  All are welcome to join the Chaplaincy team for prayer at 9.00am and 12.00 midday.

Information about further services can be found on the notice board outside the Chapel.

The Multi-Faith Prayer Room has washing facilities as you enter.

To make a referral to Chaplaincy please see our home page for details of our telephone numbers which carry a confidential voicemail.
