Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust

Fundraising

The NHS receives funds from the government to provide healthcare, but there is an ever-increasing demand to improve facilities and care for patients, which need public support.

Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust aims to provide the best possible facilities and environment for patients, staff and visitors as well as state-of-the-art equipment.  It also strives to be a leading centre for research.

To do this we rely on the kindness and generosity of the many individuals, groups and companies who donate their time and money.  We are generously supported by a number of charitable organisations including the Rocky Appeal and the League of Friends.

As a supporter of the Trust, you can donate to our general fund, which enables us to allocate your gift where it is most needed.

This would include:

  • Improvements to patient care
  • State-of-the-art equipment or additional equipment available through NHS funding
  • Medical research
  • Providing the best possible environment for patients, staff and visitors

Alternatively you can choose a specific fund or project you would like to support from a range of ongoing charitable appeals.
