Tim Higenbottam

Non-executive Director Designate

Tim lives locally in Romsey and has been in Medical Science for 30 years.

He worked first as a consultant physician in Papworth and Addenbrookes' hospitals in Cambridge.

In Sheffield he was Professor of Medicine and a Divisional Director.

For the last 10 years he has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Clinical Development of new therapies, firstly with AstraZeneca in Loughborough and Lund Sweden and latterly in Italy as Corporate Director of Clinical Development for Chiesi.

He feels his greatest achievement whilst in the Health Service was establishing a "one-stop shop" for Lung Cancer first in Cambridge and then in Sheffield.

This brought an easy accessible service with long-term support for patients.
