Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust holds a range of events to celebrate the sucesses of staff members and the organisation as a whole from awards ceremonies to national public health campaigns.
We believe it is important to celebrate the individuals and teams that provide the excellent standard of service to the people of Portsmouth and beyond.

Around 100 runners are joining Stuart Vince (a former kidney donor) and Phil Jackson who are doing 11 marathons in 11 days to raise money. There will be stand in the atrium to raise awareness of organ donation
With over one in three people over 65 now developing dementia in the UKand figures expected to double over the next 40 years, raising awareness of dementia is essential.
Medicine for Older People, Rehabilitation and Stroke will be hosting stands in the atrium with the Alzheimer's Society on 22 May for anyone interested in obtaining more information.

Constituency meetings are held twice a year to give you an opportunity to tell your Governors what you think of the hospital and to be informed of new developments within the Trust.

Long gone are the days when being in a clinical trial sparked fear. At Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, patients are given opportunities to take part in clinical trials, in fact when asked, over 90% of patients believe that others should be offered a clinical trial. They are a vital part of learning more about both health and illness, and aim towards making progress for the future.

Staff at Queen Alexandra Hospital would like to make members of the public aware that a Hampshire Fire and Rescue service mass decontamination unit will attend our site for an exercise due to take place on Tuesday 22 May. There will be no live “casualties.”
