Malcolm Walker from Petersfield has taken part in a charity skydive last October to raise important funds for Queen Alexandra Hospitals Renal Department.
Malcolm aged 65 decided to take part in the exhilarating jump with his sister Jennifer Russell after receiving fantastic care from the Department.
Jennifer took part in the skydive to raise money for Queen Alexandra Hospitals Oncology Department after her son was treated there.
From taking part in the skydive, Malcolm has raised £810 which has been put towards important renal research.
He decided to take part after developing bowel cancer five years ago and has been a patient at the Havant Dialysis Unit ever since.
He says, “I have found the care within the Renal Department fantastic, and because of this, I wanted to give something back.”
If you would like to take part in a skydive to raise important funds for a Ward or Department close to your heart within Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth Hospitals Charity would love to hear from you.
The charity has spaces available for an exciting skydive on Saturday 10 June at Go Skydive, Salisbury.
