Emergency Dentists

The Maxillofacial Department does not provide emergency dental treatment.

The Local Primary Care Trusts in East Hampshire, Fareham and Gosport and Portsmouth City provided this treatment.  From 1 August 2006, there were changes to the locally based Emergency Dental Service:

For emergency treatment during the night or at weekends, you should contact the Emergency Service on 0845 0508345 who will assess your problem.  Treatment will be provided on a booked appointment basis.

The current walk in service ceased on the 31 July 2006, and patients will be turned away from the Emergency Service if they have not booked and appointment
