The Healthcare Databases are changing!
From the end of May, the search facilities for the Healthcare Databases (AMED, BNI, CINAHL, Medline and Psychinfo), available through NHS Evidence, will be changing. There will be a new design for both the simple and advanced search screens, making the databases easier to use. More details have yet to be published but whilst the screens may change, the searching concept should remain the same.
If anybody wants to book a time for the future to learn how to use the new system, please give the Clinical Outreach Librarians a call on 02392 286042!

If you are unable to reach the library, you can renew your Portsmouth NHS library books online using your SWIMS library card (conditions apply).

The Head of the Library Service is leaving Sadly, at the end of May, Pauline Blagden, the library services manager, will be leaving us for pastures new (or to the Hampshire Healthcare Library Service to be more exact).
