Employee of the month

Bringing our values to life

These awards are given to individuals who have made a significant contribution to Portsmouth Hospitals, either directly or indirectly related to patient care, by going beyond the call of duty and who exemplify our core values. 

• An individual or group of staff who have given excellent care to a patient, relative or visitor.
• Someone who regularly goes beyond the call of duty
• A team member or manager who has done something amazing for their team or for their patients
• A member of staff who always demonstrates PHT's values

Each month a selection panel, representative of Portsmouth Hospitals staff, will select an Employee of the Month.

Equal consideration will be given to staff working behind the scenes, either in support functions or non-clinical roles and to those who work in the front line.

The monthly winner is presented with a certificate and presentation gift by the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive team. Their photograph is displayed in the A level atrium.

Each employee of the month will be considered for the Employee of the Year Award.
