Exenatide Groups

Up to six patients are able to attend the group which consists of three education sessions with a Diabetes Specialist Nurse and two telephone consultations over a six month period.Exenatide is initiated at the first group session.

Patients are monitored throughout this period of time in respect of weight, glycaemic control, blood pressure, lipid status and general well being.
